Silver Cross is certainly the flavour of the month for families in New York City who enjoy the finer things in life, as an article in The New York Daily News proved recently.

The ever popular daily newspaper set out to find New York’s most expensive and luxurious goods, and in the stroller category, they named the classic hand built Balmoral as the nursery product to own, mentioning the timeless British pram’s hand sprung chassis, leather suspension straps and hand spoked wheels. The piece also mentioned a few of the many celebrity Silver Cross owners such as Jennifer Lopez and Helena Bonham Carter.

Financial World Hails A Great British Success Story

The Great British success story that is Silver Cross once again appeared in the financial press at the weekend, with Financial Times writer Lucy Killgren interviewing Silver Cross Chairman, Alan Halsall.

The piece, intriguingly entitled “Man who pimped P. Diddy’s pram” tracked Mr Halsall’s meteoric progress with the iconic nursery brand; from receivership in 2002 through to the dynamic international business - with turnover in excess of 21M - that Silver Cross has become today.

The article also made reference to a number of celebrity owners, mentioning a host of A-list celebrities who own Silver Cross products including Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Sean “P Diddy” Combs (hence the headline). Silver Cross Photograph Competitions Reach the Final Stages…

Excitement in the Silver Cross office has reached fever pitch this week as we have at last come round to the final stages of our photographic competitions that have been running for the last five months!

Since June, we’ve been inviting visitors to submit their baby photographs to two separate competitions; Laughing Babies - where we asked for pictures of your beautiful beaming babies, and I Will Not Play With My Food - where we asked for those messy mealtime pictures! We then uploaded the pictures to our Laugh Flickr and Food Flickr pages for the public to view, and the three most popular photographs in each competition have now progressed to the final stages! All that remains now is for YOU; our website visitors to vote on the finalists of the competitions to see who wins the prizes (a POP Stroller for Laughing Babies and a Sovereign Highchair for the Food Competition).

You will see the finalists in the two separate competitions cycling in the picture below, simply click on the image and you will be taken to the Laughing Babies page where you can select your favourite and vote for the winner, then simply click on the link to the I Will Not Play With My Food page to vote for the other winner… Easy!

Another Yorkshire Winner of our 3D Pram System!

Our October prize competition featured the chance to win the award-winning 3D Pram System in the new cutting-edge fabric Tokyo Denim. Once again, Silver Cross was inundated with correct answers to the question: “Tokyo is the capital of Japan, but which kind of cuisine is Japan famous for?”
