What is it? A fully adjustable reclining car seat that incorporates Group 1 ISOFIX technology. It can be used for children between the ages of approximately nine months and six years (9kg-25kg).

What does it do? ISOFIX is a secure system built into your car that allows for a strong and safe connection between car and car seat. The Explorerfix combines ISOFIX with the latest car safety technology to provide the perfect balance of support, comfort and protection during car journeys. The headrest and harness move simultaneously with each other to keep your child correctly restrained as they grow, whilst the side impact protection is increased with the addition of head support. A three-position crotch strap provides extra comfort and safety.
The seat was designed by leading safety experts for children between the ages of approximately nine months and six years (9kg-25kg).

Which Silver Cross products is the Explorefix compatible with?
The Explorefix is not compatable with our prams and pushchairs. Our Ventura Plus Group 0+ car seat is suitable from birth and combines with some of our products.

Which vehicles is the Explorefix compatible with?
The Explorer Sport is compatible with the vast majority of vehicles. However, car manufacturers constantly change their seat specifications; this is why Silver Cross always recommends that you 'try before you buy' any car seat. Always purchase your car seat through an actual shop and not through an online e-tailer. The trained shop assistant will show you how to install the seat and check that it fits perfectly.
