Getting kids to eat fruit can sometimes feel like trying to get toothpaste back into the tube, but smoothies seem to work. When it's in a glass, it suddenly becomes a bit more interesting. Like this recipe.
You will need (serves 2):
2 ½ Apples
2 Kiwis
½ Orange
½ Banana
Wedge of Lemon
What to do:
Cut the apples and pears into wedges and put them through the juicer. Peel the kiwis and slice them into the blender. Squeeze the orange. Add the banana, the apple and orange juice, and a squeeze of lemon juice into the blender. Whizz until smooth.
125ml of bottled, freshly pressed apple juice will do if your juicer’s on strike.
